The EU and China have ended a trade dispute over dumping of solar panels in Europe, providing reassurance to many UK businesses and councils considering installation.

In June, the European Commission imposed anti-dumping duties on Chinese panels following complaints from EU manufacturers that Chinese firms benefitted from unfair support (ENDS Report 461, p6).
