Climate risk assessments are influencing institutional investment decisions, a survey by the Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change has found

The finding is based on responses from 37 asset owners and 47 asset managers, collectively valued at $14trn.

Moreover, more than two thirds of asset owners said climate change influenced their fund manager decisions in 2012. This is a marked increase from about two fifths in last year’s survey.
