Wales seeks incineration, landfill bans

The Welsh government wants to give its ministers the power to ban paper, card, glass, plastic, metal, food and wood from landfill and prevent their incineration.

Giving ministers the power to order the separate collection of card, wood and food waste is also under consideration.
