‘No clarity’ on triennial review

Plans for reviewing the Environment Agency and Natural England have yet to emerge. Changes at Natural England are worrying board members.

There is still little information from the environment department (DEFRA) on the triennial review of the Environment Agency and Natural England.

The “robust” joint review of the bodies’ form, functions and the need for their continuing existence was announced last month and is due to begin in earnest this autumn (ENDS Report 450, p 8).
