Mapping out Scottish potential

A pioneering system is identifying opportunities for renewable heat in Scotland. Sam Preece explains how the project developed

The firm is currently helping map Scotland’s renewable energy potential. In 2011, the Highland Council launched a pioneering heat map in a project funded by the Scottish government and led by representatives from the government, the Highland Council, and Highlands and Islands Enterprise.
