Unilever launches food waste challenge

Food and consumer goods firm Unilever is researching practical advice to help households cut food waste and other impacts

A Unilever study is trying to help consumers of its products, such as its Knorr range, reduce food wasteUnilever is trying to better understand how to help households live more sustainable lives and save money through a research project launched on 1 November.

Under its sustainable living plan, the food and consumer goods firm has set itself the goal of doubling the size of its business while reducing its overall impact (ENDS Report, November 2010).
