Community energy growing but in need of boost

Proponents of community-owned renewables are calling for the government to provide further incentives so they deliver a larger chunk the UK’s renewables target

More than 1,700 community-owned renewable projects, totalling 23 megawatts peak capacity, are currently claiming support from feed-in tariffs (FITs).
