Chemicals firm fined £150,000 for solvents spill

Health and safety breaches that caused a tank to collapse have cost Solvent Resource Management dearly

Solvent Resource Management Ltd (SRM) appeared at Brighton crown court. It faced prosecution by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for flouting the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 1999 (COMAH).
