Jane Davidson to give ENDS lecture

Wales's former environment minister will give the fourth ENDS annual lecture in October

Jane Davidson, former environment minister for WalesJane Davidson, former environment minister for Wales, will give the fourth ENDS annual lecture on 20 October at the Carbon Show in Islington, London.

She was the devolved administration’s minister for environment and sustainability between 2007 and last spring, standing down as an assembly member and minister at the elections in May. During her time in office the administration agreed to make sustainable development its central organising principle, and she won accolades for her leadership on green issues.

Ms Davidson has just started work as the director of the new Institute for Sustainability Practice, Innovation and Resource Effectiveness at Trinity St David University in south-west Wales.
