Perfluorinated chemicals ‘not widespread’ in water
Perfluorinated chemicals such as PFOS and PFOA are not frequent contaminants of drinking water, a report for the Drinking Water Inspectorate suggests. More data are needed on environmental levels of most compounds but fire-fighting activities at airports are a particular risk to water supplies.
