Government digs in its heels over climate Bill
The start of the climate Bill’s passage through the Commons saw the government vow to try and reverse changes agreed in the Lords that would limit the role of overseas credits in meeting UK targets, require listed companies to report on their emissions and see that emission levels help ensure the global temperature increase is not more than 2°C.
