Wales to launch landfill allowance regime in October

The UK's first landfill allowance regime is set to kick off in Wales in October when the principality introduces a preliminary six-month scheme. Legislation laid before Parliament in June confirms that all UK administrations will subsequently work to an April to March "scheme year", starting next year.
