DEFRA fudges again on large combustion plant Directive
The Environment Department (DEFRA) is still struggling to implement the 2001 EU Directive on large combustion plants. The latest fudge puts off critical decisions on whether operators can opt out of the Directive's emission controls in return for commitments to restrict operating hours.
