Transitional funding for landfill tax projects

Economic Secretary John Healey has confirmed that a "transitional fund" is to be created to assist waste management projects that will lose eligibility for funding under the landfill tax credits scheme after 1 April. Similar arrangements have been announced for Scotland. The applications process will be managed by Entrust.
