Final conclusions on Glasgow crypto incident

The incident management team's report on the Glasgow cryptosporidium scare in August last year was published in late February.1 150,000 people were warned to boil drinking water after the stomach bug was detected in water supplies in its Loch Katrine supply (ENDS Report 331, pp 9-10 ). The supply is not filtered and the available treatment was insufficient to remove the pathogen.
