Trouble ahead on NO<SUB>2</SUB>, advisers warn
Air quality objectives for nitrogen dioxide will be missed in many urban areas, according to a draft report by the Government's Air Quality Expert Group (AQEG).1 The advisers warn that forecasts of pollution levels may underestimate the future market share of diesel vehicles and the increase in NO2 emissions from vehicles fitted with particulate traps.
