Chemical sensitivity affects one in eight
A major US study of multiple chemical sensitivity, shortly to be published in Environmental Health Perspectives, has found that 12.6% of respondents reported "unusual sensitivity" to common chemical substances. A total of 1,582 people from Atlanta, Georgia, completed the telephone survey conducted by researchers from the State University of West Georgia and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
