MPs welcome proposals on corporate reporting
The House of Commons Trade and Industry Committee has given a warm reception to the Government's proposals to require the top 1,000 companies to prepare an operating and financial review (OFR).1 The MPs conclude that directors will not get away with assuming that environmental and social issues can be passed over without comment.
