DfT expects CO<SUB>2</SUB> benefit from zero-sulphur fuels
A consultation paper on implementation of a new EU Directive which requires a shift to zero-sulphur vehicle fuels has been launched by the Department for Transport.1 The paper reveals that the Government expects the transition to be achieved with a net reduction in carbon dioxide emissions - contrary to earlier protestations by the oil industry.
