Carbon tax on agenda as Whitehall positions itself for energy review
A steadily increasing carbon tax is needed to ensure significant reductions in carbon dioxide emissions over the next half-century, according to modelling by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).1 The work is likely to inform the Government's response to the forthcoming energy review.
