NGO alliance calls for third party appeals in planning

Eight environmental and amenity groups have fired a broadside against the Government's refusal to introduce a third party right of appeal against planning decisions. A report commissioned by the groups argues that third party appeals would improve planning decisions and redress a democratic imbalance in the planning system.¹
