Wessex, Northumbrian fined for fish kills
Wessex Water was fined £2,000 and ordered to pay costs of £1,450 on 18 December after a sewer blockage resulted in an overflow of crude sewage which killed eels, sticklebacks and invertebrates along five kilometres of the river Trym in Bristol.
