£5,000 fine for rubbery mess
Felixstowe Dock and Railway Company (FDRC) which operates the Port of Felixstowe, has been fined £5,000 and ordered to pay costs of £3,896 following a spill of 17 tonnes of liquid latex into the harbour. The company pleaded guilty to polluting controlled waters before Ipswich magistrates on 7 January.
