Animal feed supplement sparks dioxin scare

People in the UK have been consuming milk and meat products containing elevated levels of dioxins originating from an animal feed supplement, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has revealed. Feed additive manufacturers were asked to withdraw stocks containing the supplement Carbosan Copper after the alarm was raised by the Irish authorities.
