Lords seek "more realistic" EU chemicals strategy

The European Commission has been urged to temper ambition with realism as it develops its proposals for a new EU chemicals strategy. A House of Lords report recommends that the reform should be narrowed in scope to limit legislative delays, take better account of the complexity of downstream chemical usage, and reflect public demands for reduced animal testing.1
