Spotlight on big firms in 'sustainability matrix'

Morley, the major UK fund manager, has launched a "sustainability matrix" which ranks FTSE 100 companies according to social and environmental criteria, and seeks to present a "new measure of business sustainability". Meanwhile, a survey by Deloitte & Touche has found that most fund managers intend to use their voting rights to press companies on socially responsible investment (SRI) issues.1
