Agency brokers clean-up of chemical industry site

The Environment Agency is negotiating with chemicals businesses to secure the clean-up of groundwater beneath a Midlands site which is threatening a public water supply. Chemical companies which have owned the site near Wolverhampton over the past three decades have agreed to share the multi-million pound remediation bill.
