Welsh and Wessex fined over sewage pollution

Welsh Water and its contractor, Wessex Water Enterprises, have been fined after causing the deaths of 700 fish in a Gwent stream. Both pleaded guilty to polluting the water and causing it to be toxic to fish before Newport magistrates on 21 May.
