Total fined £54,000 for groundwater pollution

TotalFinaElf UK has been fined £54,000 for polluting ground and surface waters close to a service station at Tadley, in Hampshire. It was the latest in a string of groundwater pollution incidents which have given the company an unenviable reputation for water pollution.
