Scottish Water's £35,000 pollution debut

Newly formed Scottish Water, which succeeded the three Scottish water authorities on 1 April, received its first fine for water pollution on 30 April. The Authority was fined £35,000 on three charges related to sewage overflows in East Kilbride.
