Ofgem given a pasting as MPs warn of drift on renewables

The Government will struggle to meet its renewable energy targets for 2010, according to a report by the House of Commons Environmental Audit Committee.1 The MPs are unimpressed by the Government's policy _framework - but save their harshest words for energy regulator Ofgem which, they say, must be given a new primary duty to promote sustainable development.
