Stalemate as Ofgem defends electricity trading arrangements

Energy regulator Ofgem has concluded that small generators have "not been disproportionately affected" by the controversial new electricity trading arrangements.1 But its conclusions are contradicted by other official statistics - and it has failed to assess NETA's environmental impacts, including an apparent increase in carbon dioxide emissions from coal-fired power stations.
