Agency canvasses views on acid gas trading scheme

The Environment Agency is seeking views on its plans for a UK-wide acid gas emissions trading scheme.1 Trading could be used to implement the EU Directive on large combustion plant, although the Agency suggests it could also be applied to power stations under integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC).
