High street stationers fined £36,000 for packaging offences

High street stationery chain Stationery Box was fined £36,000 by St Helens magistrates on 10 September for its complete failure to comply with the packaging regulations from their inception in 1997 to 2001. The fine is one of the largest meted out under the regulations.
