Natural gas vehicles struggling to break into the mainstream

Official efforts to promote compressed natural gas as a transport fuel have achieved limited success in the face of infrastructure constraints and a limited choice of vehicles. However, the industry hopes that 10% of heavy goods vehicles will be fuelled by natural gas by 2010 and believes that gas vehicles can become more efficient and maintain their CO2 advantage over diesel.
