ASA upholds complaints against Peugeot and Daewoo

The Advertising Standards Authority has upheld a complaint against Peugeot for claiming that one of its cars was "green". The National Society for Clean Air complained to the ASA about a national newspaper advertisements for the Peugeot 607 which claimed that the car was environmentally friendly, without offering substantiation (ENDS Report 331, p 32 ).
