Wessex Water scheme bypasses £100 million investment
A revised Wessex Water plan to alleviate low flows in three rivers may render a £105 million water supply scheme unnecessary. Maximising the use of water supplied from neighbouring Bristol Water should avoid the need for a new river abstraction and 40-kilometre pipeline.
