In earlier coverage, ENDS revealed that the Government gave incentive payments of £93 million to three chemical companies - Ineos Fluor, DuPont and Rhodia - which appear to have already met their emission reduction targets because of regulatory requirements. As a result, at least half of the savings claimed for the UK trading scheme are not real.
