Industry split on implementation of large combustion plant Directive

Respondents to the Environment Department's consultation on implementing the 2001 EU Directive on large combustion plants were split on the merits of the competing national plan and emission limit value approaches. The decision must be made shortly, and will have important implications for the UK energy policy.
