Clamp-down on unlicensed waste operation ends in fiasco

Attempts to clamp down on what Scottish regulators see as illegal, tax-free waste management operations were dealt a blow in a recent court hearing which ended in fiasco. The Procurator Fiscal withdrew her charges against McIntosh Plant Hire (Aberdeen) before the evidence could be heard.
