CPA makes third bid to head off pesticides tax
New targets for reducing the impacts of pesticides and proposals for farm-level pesticide management plans have been put forward by the Crop Protection Association (CPA) in its latest bid to ward off a pesticides tax.1 Its proposals have received a warmer welcome - but recent reductions in pesticide prices and official efforts to see them fall even further may undermine their impact.
