Manufacturing with fewer chemicals - the new US service model
Reducing demand for one's products is generally not perceived as the way to thrive in business. Over the past few years, however, a quiet revolution in the way parts of the chemical industry do business with their major manufacturing customers has been gathering pace in North America. Chemical manufacturers - and more recently major consulting and waste businesses - have been working with manufacturers to reduce their chemicals consumption and improve life-cycle chemicals management. Significant environmental benefits are being realised in the process.
