Regional renewables assessments leave national targets in balance
Targets for regional renewable energy capacity, prepared by five of the eight English regions so far, appear unlikely to be sufficient to meet the national target of 10% by 2010. Some regions are already under fire over their reliance on incineration and for the visual impact of wind farms.
