Study links nitrate in water to bladder cancer
An epidemiological study of 22,000 women in the US has discovered an elevated risk of bladder cancer for water supplies containing elevated levels of nitrate.1 The effect is biologically plausible and appears to cut in at relatively low nitrate levels.
