Government advisors sound alarm over air traffic growth
The Government's two main environmental advisory bodies have warned that unconstrained growth in air traffic conflicts with goals to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Taxing aircraft fuel and bringing aviation into the Kyoto Protocol are among their proposals.
