Shanks fined £2,000 for uncovered waste
Shanks Waste Services was fined £2,000 with £839 costs by Tenby magistrates on 10 May after it admitted leaving a trailer containing general waste uncovered overnight at its Princes Gate landfill near Narberth, Pembrokeshire, on 11 July last year, allowing birds to scavenge the waste.
