Tissue manufacturer fined for oil spill

Wolverhampton-based tissue manufacturer AP UK was fined £7,500 on 29 August after admitting polluting the Walsall canal with oil. The Environment Agency brought a charge under section 85 of the Water Resources Act 1991.
