Fish deaths blamed on pesticide pollution

The Environment Agency has pinned the blame for hundreds of fish deaths in the Sussex river Ouse on pollution with the organophosphate pesticide chlorpyrifos. The Agency's legal team is considering prosecution after about half a pint of the product entered a tributary of the river in August.
