Critical review of leasing's role in closing the product loop
Product leasing has been promoted as a means of helping manufacturers close the materials loop and move them closer to sustainability. But a recent study of several top companies' experience with leasing by US research organisation Inform concludes that this is far from universally true - and that leasing is no substitute for take-back laws.1
