Breaching consents costs company £12,000

Cheshire-based milk processors Bodfari Producers pleaded guilty to four offences of failing to comply with the conditions of a discharge consent contrary to section 85 of the Water Resources Act 1991. Appearing before Chester magistrates on 15 November, the company also asked for 21 other breaches to be taken into account.
